When we first got our espresso machine I tried a lot of different ESE pods and far preferred Miccela d'Oro to any of the others. Before trying the Natura Organic, I used the Cremoso pods. All of the pods are made without using acrylamide, which I appreciate. The Natura is not as dark as the Cremoso, but it's smooth and healthy. I haven't noticed any staleness; I usually buy a big box at a time and sometimes even two of Natura and for my husband, the decaf ESE espresso pods. I have friends who roast their own beans, but I'm a busy person and really appreciate the convenience of the ESE pods.

For many coffee sommeliers, purchasing espresso pods is sacrilegious. True, they don’t match fresh ground. However, if every second counts, ESG matters to you, and you still want quality taste, it will be almost impossible to top Miscela d’Oro’s fair-trade organic espresso pods. Dammit, they are just so rich and smooth! Buying a case of 150 pods may be great for cafés but, a cautionary word to residential buyers like me, the freshness wanes about halfway through the case if you enjoy at the same rate as me. Last compliment: it used to be impossible to get this product unless you went overseas. Thank you for making this available for purchase in the U.S.!
